Hello, I am writing to urge you to become a supporter of KEEN Greater DC - Baltimore. It is a great organization! Some of you know my connection to KEEN and some of you might not. KEEN stands for Kids Enjoy Exercise Now. It provides wonderful and unique services to kids with disabilities. KEEN pairs a KEEN athlete with a volunteer 'coach' -- and the formula produces amazing opportunities for everyone involved. 

My son, Nicholas, was a KEEN athlete. In fact, KEEN was Nicholas’ very first opportunity to hang with teenagers without my wife Catherine and me hovering about….this photo is of Nick having a great time at KEEN. After he passed away, Catherine and I became KEEN volunteers. I eventually joined the KEEN Board, and recently became Board President. I believe in KEEN with all my heart! 

This year, KEEN has been busy adding new programs in underserved areas and building partnerships within our communities, such as a new program at the University of Maryland. However, like everything else, the cost of running the KEEN programs has increased significantly after the pandemic. We need to raise  funds to meet these increased costs.  I would truly appreciate it if you would consider making a contribution to KEEN of any size.
